Technique Cardistry

About the trick

Chris Severson brings you 6 brand new flourishes designed to give you a wide variety of different Cardistry techniques. Everything from two handed cuts to card shots! In over 45 minutes of detail, you will learn:

Fuel: A card shot allowing you to fire cards off rapidly and at distances of 40-50 feet!

Va Va Voom: A two handed, three packet cut that feels like a dance in your hands.

Sea Sick: Just like riding the waves, Sea Sick is inspired by the ocean and its movements.

Horseshoe Fan: A one handed fan that lays out right before your eyes.

Snake Bite: A four packet cut that happens in 1 second! Don't blink or you will miss it!

Anchor: Inspired by Zach Mueller's "Hook" flourish, Anchor is a unique three packet cut that flows till the close.

More from Chris Severson

Chris has been shuffling paper for over 12 years and was entrapped by magic at a young age. He believes that magic alone is not an art. Being able to buy a trick off the Internet or learn a card sleight from YouTube does not make art. He believes that what makes magic a true art form is not the ability to fool someone, but to make them question their own deep seated beliefs in reality and what they have just witnessed. The ability to bend their thoughts and emotions, read their body language, and interpret social psychology; that interaction between the spectator and magician can be monumental. He knows it takes years and even decades to make magic an art, and he strives to do just that.
